Procedures and Treatments

The tonsils and adenoids are immune tissue in the back of the throat.  In some patients, especially children and sometimes adults, the tonsils can become infected and/or enlarged, requiring treatment.  Surgical removal of the tonsils and adenoids (usually in kids) may be necessary.
