Procedures and Treatments

The thyroid gland is a butterfly shaped organ in the neck which produces chemicals which control our energy level.  Many people also develop lumps in the thyroid called nodules.  Sometimes, these nodules can be cancer. At ENT Associates of Roseburg, we take pride in being able to treat surgical thyroid conditions from all under one roof.  We will perform your initial evaluation, perform ultrasound imaging of the thyroid, if required, and possibly fine needle aspiration (FNA) biopsy.  We are also experienced thyroid surgeons, for those who need this procedure.

The parathyroids are small glands that sit behind the thyroid gland, and regulate the calcium level in our body. Some patients have conditions which require removal of one or more of these small glands. Parathyroid surgery is also an interest and area of expertise.
